I have been in the hospitality industry since March 1994.  My first position was as Catering Manager at the Marriott Gwinnett Place in Atlanta.  Following that I was with Starwood on-and-off for approximately 11 years starting out as a Conference Services Manager and ending as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Galleria Atlanta.  In all I’ve been a DOSM for IHG, Starwood, Davidson and for the past 2 1/2 years for Sage Hospitality here in Tucson. My Tucson hotel has recorded RevPar growth of over 10% in the past 2 years, beat budget in 2010 by $500k and we were awarded Sage’s Revenue and Profit leader awards at this year’s conference. I have a 10 year old son (Colin) who lives in Atlanta.
